Steps
- Locate a sample picture in Hidden before changing the preference.
- Turn Show Hidden Album off in Photos settings.
- Return to Photos and inspect Utilities. Re-enable the preference when you need to access the collection.
Check the result
Practice turning the preference back on with a harmless sample. Keep authentication enabled too if you need an access control rather than only less-visible navigation.
